Curated by Chicago-based artist José Santiago Pérez, this exhibition features artworks produced by local, national, and international artists that expand the boundaries of erotic art through contemporary explorations of the materialities that accompany and structure the practices and lifewords of alternative sex.

TIP OF MY | BOX GALLERY AT TERRAIN EXHIBITIONS | NOVEMBER 19TH, 2017
Box Gallery is the curatorial project of Chicago-area artist Richard Medina. The experimental gallery space takes the form of a 6" x 6" x 6" cardboard box. Artists are asked to respond to the unique constraints of the box, and create work that activates the interior of the space.
RING TRUE | SUSTAIN GALLERY | NOVEMBER 17TH, 2017
A one night exhibition of performance art curated by Luis Mejico. Ring True is a look back at feminist performance artists that have exhibited radical force in their practices. For this one-night event, the works of these artists will be reperformed by fem artists of today, as a means of honoring and remembering their work, while also understanding what their legacy opened the door to. The performers will include not only women, but also trans and non-binary peoples, as a means of recontextualizing and building upon the works.
